weird post run craving

I am new to sweat365.com and thought I would start of with a post. I am wondering if any other runners out there get weird/random cravings after a run. I run marathons so I run almost every day. Whether I am running a long 16 mile run, or just a short 4 mile run, whenever I am done, I crave peanut butter! This seems very strange to me and I have no idea why I crave it all the time. I love peanut butter and it is probably one of my “weaknesses”. I would chose peanut butter with a banana or on crackers over ice cream or chips any day. I know that peanut butter has protein and good fat but I’m wondering if I am deficient in something to make me crave it so much, or do I just really like it. Any suggestions? Anyone else crave pb or another random food?

I just joined the Brooks Run Happy Group at Sweat365!

I’m a woman from Alexandria VA US, born in 1983.

My goals are: I’m always training for a marathon but I’m also trying to learn as much as I can about fitness and learn as many exercises as possible because I am studying to be a personal trainer.
